Pao shoulder bag 4/4

We’ve worked with a time-served craftswoman to produce these four, one-of-a-kind bags made from repurposed Pao head rests and Japanese textiles by Yoko Saito.

Each one is unique, machine- and hand-sewn with care and real attention to detail. Starting with the pale blue and grey weave of the seat fabric and using the piping for structural integrity, each bag is finished with a detachable, reversible shoulder strap and lined with one of four Japanese textiles in Pike-inspired colours.

The bags close with a snap using the original pop stud fastenings, and contain pockets for keys, sweeties and so on.

Should you want to switch to more of a handbag vibe, two of the bags come with round plastic handles in the same black and ivory as the steering wheels.

Finally each bag is finished with a tiny re-imagined, woven Pao seat tag tucked inside.
