Brand new GAZ coil overs for the Nissan Pao and can also be fitted on the Be-1, Figaro and K10 Micra/March.

Having bought some GAZ coil overs around 12 months ago (October 2023) we've been testing them out on our own aqua grey (blue) Pao.
Needless to say we have been quite taken with them, went and met some members of the GAZ team and would now like to offer them to other Pao owners, and related Pike cars of course!

Assuming you know a little about coil overs, I'll cut straight to our experience.
The garage we use for modifications and such, Dynodaze Customworx in Nuneaton, fitted them in double quick time, previous Pao coil overs have always needed a little modifying to fit or the spring has unseated itself once the Pao is on the ground. These GAZ coil overs do none of these things and since then they have not been any problem at all. The Pao is now lowered by about an 1.5-2"/4.25".
They have brought us improved handling with predictable bounce (recoil) on bouncy roads and travelling around corners at a brisk pace has also been way more predictable with massively decreased body roll**.
Having bought other brands of coil overs for other cars of ours, it feels like you don't quite know what you will get until it's on. BC coil overs have been too hard, Tein arguably a bit too soft, but genuninely, GAZ seem just right.
They did have to settle in, which maybe took 3-4 months, but this is to be expected (the BC coil overs never settled in).
We have ours on the softest setting, but when we loaded up for out trip into Holland with a lot of luggage etc then we increased the firmness on the rears. I feel like this helped with reducing braking distances, admittedly not proven, but with the rear rising less during heavy braking you became aware of the rear brake shoes biting onto the drums sooner, I found this comforting, an added layer of predictable safe braking. We use Blueprint brake pads and discs on our blue Pao.

So, overall, if you like the Citroen 2CV-style body roll and increased space in the arch, then these coil overs are probably not the suspension for you, best to stick to KYB shocks/struts and springs.
But if you would prefer reduced body roll, an option of lowering by up to 60mm/2.36" and safer, more predictable handling and braking, then these would be a great addition to your Pao.

**We did used to have 15" x 6" wheels with a low profile, but around 4 weeks ago we went back to the original 12" x 4.5" wheels and found that body roll is still much improved, fast cornering is a little more
